So, I’m waiting for my iPhone to come at the moment! It’s been three weeks due to the fact that there was a fire at O2! They clearly think that its a good enough reason to stop working…. i personally disagree!
When i’ve been doing promotions in the past, I have to contend with fires, floods and gale force winds. It’s never stopped me getting the job done… you just need to adjust to the situation you’re in - and pretty much get on with it. If you’re on a promotion where its so windy that your tent is being blown down, its not a reason to pack up and go home really…. is it?????? No! you just need to take the tent down (if you can) or go and get something to anchor it. I’m pretty sure the agency will let you claim back the money for whatever you use.
Promotions has always been about initiative for me. You never really know what could happen on a job; but there is no point in getting flustered about it. If you’ve been trained properly and have a bit of gusto, you can deal with anything. It might not always be the ideal situation, but its better that giving in! So next time your day doesn’t go quite to plan… step back and take a look at the bigger picture, and do what you have to do to make it work!
